Pastor Joe became the Lead Pastor of Trinity Church on May 3, 2009.  Together with his wife Ruth, they bring passion, vision, and leadership to our church and community.   Pastor Joe and Ruth were married in June 1997, and have three boys, Joey (9), Josiah (3), and Seth who went to be with Jesus on April 10, 2004. 

Prior to entering Bible School, Pastor Joe had dreams and aspirations of being a New York State Trooper.  Pastor Joe earned an Associates Degree in Police Science from Orange County Community College, Middletown, NY, and attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.  After a radical encounter with the Lord at Times Square Church in New York City, God changed the course of Pastor Joe's life and he answered the call of God to preach.  In 1993, Pastor Joe enrolled into Zion Bible College in Barrington, RI.

Pastor Joe graduated in 1997 from Zion Bible College of the Assemblies of God with a Baccalaureate Degree in Bible, majoring in Pastoral Studies and minoring in Christian Education.  He was ordained by the Assemblies of God in 2001. 

Pastor Joe and Ruth together began ministry as Youth Pastors at Providence Assembly of God in Providence, RI.  After serving in Providence, they left to Boston to pioneer a new church that they called International Worship Center in Roslindale, MA.  After several years in Boston, the Lord called Pastor Joe and Ruth to Western Massachusetts to pastor a church in the Berkshires from 2003 until April, 2009 where they saw remarkable growth and increase. 

Pastor Joe was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, until he and his family moved to the Middletown area in 1985.  Pastor Joe attended Trinity Church as a youth until going to Bible School in 1993.  He graduated from Pine Bush High School in 1989 where he played 4 years of football.  He loves the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.  He enjoys reading, working out and watching a good clean movie with his family. 

Ruth was born and raised in Puerto Rico until her family moved to Brooklyn, NY when she was 7.  She Graduated from John Dewey High School in Brooklyn, and attended Orange County Community College in Middletown, NY and Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL, where she majored in psychology.  Ruth was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit as a young adult at Trinity Church.  She loves to read, write, and bake.  She is also an avid Yankees fan.

Pastor Joe says, "I am excited for what God is doing and what He is going to do in Trinity and in Middletown, NY.  I truly believe that God has great things in store and that the best is yet to come for Trinity Church!"    

   

Tom joined our team in January 2010 as our Teaching Pastor.  Tom has been in broadcasting for twenty-five years and has done pretty much everything in radio and television, both in front of the microphone and camera, as well as behind the scenes.  He greatest love is the radio.

Tom's most profound moment was on February 19th, 1982.  After a suicide attempt from depression, he was admitted to New York Psychiatric Hospital in White Plains, NY.  It was there in his room he encountered the living person of Jesus Christ.  Tom was moved by Christ to repent of his sins and surrender his life to Him.  He did and his life has never been the same.  It is amazing grace!

Tom's life calling can be defined as an encourager and communicator. 

He is an inspirational and motivational speaker to churches, businesses, and organizations with a flare for humor incorporated into all he does.  He has served in most areas of ministry in churches including as an associate pastor.  Tom’s passion however lies outside the walls of the traditional church in the marketplace arenas of entertainment, government, and corporate America. 

Tom is an ordained minister and endorsed chaplain with The General Council of The Assemblies of God. He holds a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Theology, and an Associates of Science Degree in Communications and Media Arts. 

Tom hosts "The Heading Home Show" weekdays from 3 - 7pm and the weekly radio program “Heart 2 Heart” on Fridays at 9am on The Sound of LIFE.

Tom is married to the love of his life of 22 years, Cathleen, and has three children, Jonathan (20), Alyssa (19), and Christy (14). Tom and his family live in Poughkeepsie, NY.  They love their home church, Faith Assembly and their Pastor, Ed Jones (not the financial guy!).

Tom is a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan!  He enjoys aviation (wants to get his pilots license some day), cooking, football, but mostly sitting quietly watching a movie with Cathleen.
